Our client is a global retailer that is focused on growing and driving performance of their high quality stores. The office is located in Downtown Manhattan, but our client is featured globally. This company is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to hit the ground running and help expand their talent base.

Salary/Hourly Rate: $24 – $28 per hour 50K – $55K perm

Position Overview: The Recruiting Coordinator reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition. The mandate for this position is to design and implement research strategies for executive positions and research/propose vendors for recruitment projects.  In this role you will also collaborate with Recruiters on an assignment basis. This role is essential to the team and applicants must be able to thrive in a high pressure, fast moving, and evolving environment.

Responsibilities of the Recruiting Coordinator:

  • Supports team by locating candidate profiles for specified executive or niche searches using unique and traditional methods
  • Actively drives the research process by developing creative strategies using social media outlets and job search engines
  • Researches/communicates to the team updates on relevant market industry news
  • Proactively identifies and tracks leading professional service organizations and reports findings to appropriate recruiters and hiring managers
  • Establishes working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Assists on special projects for increased census/business needs throughout the year
  • Develops case studies on difficult to fill positions and makes appropriate recommendations
  • Trains/mentors junior team members on sourcing strategies and research techniques

Qualifications for the Recruiting Coordinator:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of prior executive research/sourcing experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of HR/Recruiting experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external candidates
  • Must be tech savvy; proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Applicant Tracking Systems and CRM’s with the ability to learn additional programs as needed
