We are currently looking for a Recruiting Coordinator for our Temporary Administrative Support team based in our Iselin, NJ office.

Position Overview: This is a great opportunity to join a high performing team with an established “Applicant Centric” philosophy, while learning the recruiting business from the ground up! The Recruiting Coordinator will join a team of natural networkers and learn to become a “right hand” to candidates in their search. The Recruiting Coordinator will become a professional at interviewing and job matching to drive placements in various administrative fields.

Responsibilities:

Recruiting:

  • The Recruiting Coordinator will source for qualified candidate through various methods including posting ads, direct recruiting, networking and referrals
  • Pre-qualify candidates via a phone screen
  • Conduct behavioral based interviews
  • Introduce your candidates to teammates when they are here for your interview
  • Conduct 2 professional reference checks on all candidates
  • Test candidates on computer skills using ProveIt software as needed
  • Keep candidate records up to date with accurate notes and candidate summaries 
  • Match candidates to open positions
  • Negotiate pay rates/salary rates with candidates
  • Offer guidance and support throughout their job search and manage candidate expectations
  • Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews requested by the clients
  • Prep candidates thoroughly for job interviews or for their assignments (dress, company policies, job responsibilities, client/atrium expectations, etc.)
  • Process related legal documentation including W4 and  I-9
  • Debrief with candidate after each interview/assignment for feedback
  • Present offers to candidates
  • Once placed, maintain contact via Quality control calls regularly to gain performance feedback to be sure candidate is meeting job/assignment expectations
  • Respond with next steps to any employee relations issues within 24 hours of notification
  • Handle any disciplinary actions/discussions with candidate on behalf of the client
  • Resolve all timesheet and payroll issues
  • Promote referral bonus program

Admin:

  • Perform administrative duties for the team to include but not limited to scheduling of candidates, phone coverage, data entry, team activity boards, business development campaigns, managing availability lists, ad hoc projects
  • The Recruiting Coordinator will run and manage individual and/or team reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Respond to all candidate inquires with timely follow up, remaining true to our Applicant-Centric Philosophy

Expectations:

  • Interview a minimum of 2-3 candidates per day
  • Search daily on all recruiting tools for candidates
  • Post job ads on website and any appropriate boards/social networking sites regularly
  • Manage an update available candidate list by skill with details of candidate, skill, availability
  • Edit Resumes as necessary
  • As soon as a candidate is placed, make a Quality Control call to check in to see if assignment/role is meeting job expectations and attend to any of their needs
  • Work with urgency, and as hard to fill roles surface, immediately include them in your search efforts
  • When same day/last minute jobs are received, stop everything you’re doing to assist the team in filling the role
  • Call candidates to qualify if they are available and interested in the job opportunity, then present to Account representative
  • KNOW your candidate’s availability at all times and be prepared to sell your candidates on a moment’s notice
  • Maintain an up to date available candidate list and send out to the team when you are interviewing
  • Manage timesheet/payroll issues weekly
  • Manage on-boarding/off-boarding and all ER issues for all candidates
  • Manage team admin duties as requested
  • Maintain all candidate information in Erecruit
  • Run reports according to schedule set by management
