Atrium Staffing, a WBENC-certified woman-owned firm, is seeking a summer Recruiting Intern to join their Administrative Support Division.

Salary/Hourly Rate: $15/hr

Position Overview: The Recruiting Intern will support day to day operations of the Administrative Support Team. The ideal candidate should be going into their senior year of college. The Recruiting Intern will have the opportunity to work closely with Recruiters and Account Managers, providing a great opportunity to learn about the staffing industry.

Responsibilities of the Recruiting Intern:

  • Source potential candidates through job ads, job boards (CareerBuilder, Monster, Indeed, Linkedin, etc)
  • Pre-qualify candidates and conduct interviews to evaluate skills, employment background and qualifications
  • Conduct new-hire orientations and processing documentation including I-9 and W-4 forms
  • Conduct pre-employment checks on all candidates including reference checks, background checks and drug screen
  • Assist with temporary associates’ time sheets and ensure payroll is accurately processed weekly
  • Support recruiters and account managers with administrative tasks

Qualifications for the Recruiting Intern:

  • Must be a team player, collaborative, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Candidates must have a strong desire to grow within the staffing industry
  • Previous experience working in a customer service or administrative role
  • Ideal candidate should be graduating May 2020 

Education Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a 4 year college, pursing a Bachelor’s Degree
