Position Overview:
The Recruitment Process Partnership (RPP) Recruiter conducts recruitment activities for biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry positions. The recruiter will market our client to potential candidates, source best-in-class talent for job openings, and enable hiring managers to select and secure the right candidate for their needs within this biotechnology/pharmaceutical company. We have an immediate need for a long-term solution supporting a client on the East Coast. This Recruitment Process Partnership (RPP) Recruiter will support Global functions with a primary focus on the Finance Organization.
Responsibilities of the Recruitment Process Partnership (RPP) Recruiter:
- Develop and execute talent acquisition tactics to build a top-tier, qualified workforce and a strong candidate pipeline.
- Pre-screen candidates and deliver pre-qualified, diverse candidates for the Hiring Managers’ evaluation.
- Advise Hiring Managers on establishing appropriate roles for each member of the interview team. Coach them as needed on technical, functional, and behavioral interviewing models.
- Partner with VP and leaders on hiring strategies including market intelligence, talent assessment, and hiring trends.
- Grow existing network, foster new relationships and attend networking events to further identify talent for the organization.
- Collaborate with other Human Resources stakeholders to develop tactics for attracting talent that will help to sustain and contribute to the client’s culture
- Employ developed negotiating skills to close candidates, including providing detailed descriptions of client benefit plans, PTO, and employee stock purchase plans.
- Proactively provide weekly and ad-hoc updates to the Staffing team, Hiring Managers, and business partners.
- Effectively manage the recruitment process by balancing timelines and customer needs.
- May contribute to projects as part of the long-term strategy of building a best-in-class talent acquisition team.
- May guide and mentor less experienced staff to improve their skills.
- Deliver consistent, positive operational results with the best balance of investment and efficiency.
- Educate and influence leaders to adapt quickly to talent acquisition-specific shifts in direction. Consider the impacts on business and partners with leaders on communication and execution of outcomes needed to adjust to a new state.
- Support, counsel, and direct hiring managers on recruiting best practices, interview and selection techniques, and training as applicable.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance in accordance with local legislation and Client’s systems and processes.
Required Experience/Skills for the Recruitment Process Partnership (RPP) Recruiter:
- Demonstrated knowledge and a proven track record of success in talent acquisition best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and communicate complex issues and concepts to a wide range of external and internal stakeholders.
- Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of recruiting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Recruitment Process Partnership (RPP) Recruiter:
- Experience in recruiting for the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or the equivalent is required.
