REGIONAL PROPERTY MANAGER

Our client, a family-owned business, has over 60 properties throughout the New England area including MA, ME, and NH. They build affordable HUD compliant housing and are one of the best in their field. Currently, they are looking to hire a Regional Property Manager for Affordable Housing.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$130K – 150K

Position Overview:

The Regional Property Manager will be responsible in overseeing 11 properties (initially a smaller portfolio) and ensuring they are adhering to operational procedures and capital budgets. You will be responsible for managing the Property Managers on each site and must have a strong working knowledge of HUD compliance.

Responsibilities of the Regional Property Manager:

  • Ensure budgets are being accurately followed at each property
  • Handle quarterly financial reporting for all properties
  • Forecast future year upcoming budgets
  • Hire, train and oversee maintenance staff and property managers
  • Performance evaluations of staff
  • Travel to building locations to ensure they are adhering to operational protocol
  • Ensure HUD compliance is being followed at all times
  • Oversee compliance with re-certification and tenant application renewal

Qualifications for the Regional Property Manager:

  • Must have 5 years prior experience in a Regional Property Manager role specifically within Affordable Housing
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of HUD compliance
  • Strong working financial knowledge of budgets and reporting

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
