Our client is a manufacturing company, and they are looking to add and experienced Sales Administrative Assistant to their dynamic team in Essex County, NJ. Having industrial, construction, and manufacturing experience in this contract to permanent role is a plus.

Salary/Hourly Rate
: $15 – 16/hr

Position Overview: 
The Sales Administrative Assistant will be responsible for front desk coverage when needed. They are seeking a person who is skilled in math to handle sales quotes including dimensions, sizes, and technical information regarding the client’s products.

Responsibilities of the Sales Administrative Assistant:

  • Cover phone and front desk when needed
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the VP of Sales
  • Prepare both monthly and weekly sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data in Excel
  • Support the sales team by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses
  • Maintain accounts and provide excellent customer service
  • Interact with distributors, warehouse associates, and clients as needed

Qualifications for the Sales Administrative Assistant: 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented 
  • Strong PC experience; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Bilingual (English+Spanish) preferred not required

Education Requirements:

  • A business/administrative school degree is a plus, but is not required
