Position Overview:

The Sales Coordinator at our client’s growing logistics company plays a vital role in the organization’s success. This position oversees the coordination of sales-related activities, ensuring that products efficiently move from the supplier to the customer. The Sales Coordinator collaborates with the Sales team, Procurement department, and logistics partners to streamline processes and maintain customer relationships. Responsibilities include managing orders, tracking inventory, and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth. The Sales Coordinator also monitors market trends and provides valuable insights to optimize the supply chain and boost sales performance. With excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, a Sales Coordinator is an essential asset for our client.

Responsibilities of the Sales Coordinator:

  • The Sales Coordinator will drive customer growth and satisfaction through optimal carrier capacity utilization, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
  • The Sales Coordinator will display self-sufficiency in managing workloads and making decisions that promote company growth, with minimal reliance on team members and managers.
  • Maximize profitability by procuring transportation services at competitive prices while maintaining high service levels.
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to identify areas for new business, improve service and pricing, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction as the Sales Coordinator.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to build strong operational relationships with clients, ensuring consistent pricing, and service, and keeping Relationship Management tools updated.
  • Secure new opportunities and customers by collaborating with Business Development and Customer Experience, while leveraging new technologies to enhance productivity and streamline load coverage.

Qualifications for the Sales Coordinator:

  • 1+ years within logistics.
  • B2b experience.
  • Strong communication skills.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
