Our client, a well established construction company in NYC, is looking for a Senior Accountant. The company has room for growth with a great culture and supportive management team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$75k – $80k

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for all AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close process and reporting directly to the Controller.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

Responsible for a high volume of accounts payable
Posting journal entries to the general ledger
Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
Processing wire transfers and expense accruals
Financial statement preparation
Assisting with additional projects as needed
Calculating sales tax
Auditing

Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:

4 – 7 years of prior experience in a Senior Accountant capacity
Must be detail-oriented and have strong communication skills
Prior experience with a large ERP Package (SAP and Oracle)
Proficient with Excel (pivot tables and vlookups)

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
