Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k – $120k

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, preparing financial statements and reports, and performing advanced financial analysis.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Manage and maintain the company’s accounting records
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports to management
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper accounting and reporting of transactions
• Manage the monthly close process and ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Participate in budget and forecast activities
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Continuously recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the Accounting department
• Oversee and mentor junior staff members

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role
• Experience in truck leasing industry is highly preferred
• CPA certification is a plus
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Experience with accounting software and systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
