Our client, a community-focused real estate and infrastructure owner, operator, and developer, is in search of a highly organized and experienced Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant must have real estate or property management experience and a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$75k – $85k

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will provide timely and accurate financials while working alongside internal departments such as Fund Accounting, Property Management, and Investments. An individual that is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and is able to efficiently manage multiple tasks will excel in this position.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, cash flow projects, and general ledgers
  • Reconcile, verify, and validate all postings and entries to the balance sheet
  • Contribution and distribution calculations
  • Prepare lender reporting packets for assigned assets

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

  • 1 year of experience in real estate or property management
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting
  • Experience in GAAP, Yardi, MRI, or comparable software

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required
