Our client is looking to add a Senior Accountant who is a self-starter and highly motivated to their team in Florham Park NJ.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$40 – $50/hr Dependent on experience

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for all AP, AR, reconciliations, and month end close process. The ideal Senior Accountant will be focused on team goals, striving for overall success of the department.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

Monthly journal entry creation and postings including appropriate supporting documentation
Execute all month-end responsibilities within timelines
Financial Statement preparation
Respond to various requests from Operations and Finance partners
Prepare various ad-hoc analyses for Management
Liaison between internal teams to facilitate with any accruals

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

4+ years accounting experience
Proficient with Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups)
Experience with a large ERP Package

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
