Salary/Hourly Rate:

$95,000 – $105,000 DOE

Position Overview:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our finance department, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, and managing our internal financial processes. The Senior Accountant expertise will contribute significantly to the company’s financial health and stability.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Assist in the preparation of budget and forecast reports
  • Perform routine accounting duties, such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during audits
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist in tax planning and preparation for the company
  • Provide support during financial reviews and other key meetings with stakeholders

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required
