Our client is seeking a professional and collaborative Senior Accountant (Corporate / Development) to join the Corporate team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$85k – $95k

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant (Corporate / Development) will be primarily responsible for the accounting associated with a major operating entity and various division platform entities. The Senior Accountant (Corporate / Development) position is located in West Palm Beach.& This individual is detail-oriented with the ability to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant (Corporate / Development):

  • Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and year-end work papers, including account reconciliations
  • Review and analyze the general ledger, financial statements, and prepare appropriate accrual and adjusting journal entries in accordance with GAAP
  • Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including the consolidation of subsidiary entities
  • Prepare the allocation of various expenses
  • Prepare monthly capital calls for certain development projects
  • Review invoice billings and the respective coding on a timely basis
  • Identify and release weekly payments of outstanding payables
  • Assist in the compilation of information for the overall company year-end audit
  • Collaborate with other Finance department managers to support overall departmental goals and objectives
  • Special projects as assigned by management

Qualifications of the Senior Accountant (Corporate / Development):

  • 3+ years of professional experience. CPA and public accounting experience is a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Proficiency in standard suite of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards/Hubble reporting software is a plus

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
