Our client is a well-established professional services company based in the heart of Boston, MA. Our client is looking to add a polished and talented Senior Benefits Administrator to join their growing team. This position will play a major role in the company’s vision as they move into the new year.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$85,000 – $110,000
Position Overview:
The Senior Benefits Administrator will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s benefits package. The Senior Benefits Administrator will be instrumental in leading the end to end administration of the companies benefits from conducting annual benefits analysis to actively administrating benefits plans. The chosen candidate will also assist employees with benefits questions, managing the annual benefits enrollment process, and ensure annual benefits compliance.
Responsibilities of the Senior Benefits Administrator:
- Responsible administering all benefits plans from group health, dental , and long-term/short term benefits
- Utilize the HRIS system to its highest potential to define eligibility, capture rates, conduct payroll deductions, and coverage level
- Act as the industry expert for office, assisting employees with all benefits questions
- Consult with outside vendors and external consultants to resolve employee issues
- Conducts new hire benefits orientation sessions
- Participates in annual benefit plan renewals which includes reviewing and approving new updates
- Manages the benefits enrolment process
- Creates and conduct benefit surveys to determine the firms competitive
- Conducts the annual benefits analysis by analyzing current market conditions
- Ensures compliance with all state and federal guidelines
- Processes and administers with all leave-of absence: medical, disability, parental, FMLA, and personal
- Leads and drives the various committees
- Coordinates the wellness events aimed at increasing employee engagement
Qualifications for the Senior Benefits Administrator:
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in the benefits space
- Experience with an HRIS System
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
