Salary/Hourly Rate:

$110,000 – $140,000

Position Overview:

As the Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small team of roughly 7 across Logistics & Operations. This Senior Operations Manager individual will lead strategic initiatives to increase efficiencies across internal facilities as well as the global logistical network.

Responsibilities of the Senior Operations Manager:

  • Develop and deliver structural improvements and designs for the future; while maximizing daily performance, future scalability, and growth opportunities for the business
  • Analyze rates, route and tender shipments via approved transportation providers to optimize freight costs while maintaining excellent service levels
  • Optimize FTE by cross training staff and allocating resources according to business needs
  • Responsibility for managing Distribution Expense to budget, and continuous improvement to reduce the actual rate of Distribution Expense to Gross Revenue
  • Create & manage KPI dashboards, ensuring we are meeting & exceeding expectations
  • Works closely with management and teams to develop best practices, map processes, and recommend solutions to bottlenecks and issues
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams such as Replenishment, Sales, QA, and Finance to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies and daily operational issues

Qualifications for the Senior Operations Manager:

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience (supply chain, logistics, import, export, etc.)
  • Familiarity with governmental initiatives such as FDA prior notice, Customs C-TPAT program, ETC
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required
  • Experience with ERP systems (specifically Microsoft AX) a plus

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field is preferred
