Our client, a highly regarded, mission-driven banking organization headquartered in Manhattan is seeking a Senior Risk Technology Data Engineer to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

Up to $145,000 with Bonus and Benefits

Position Overview:

The Senior Risk Technology Data Engineer will provide critical understanding of the organizations data and collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and provide solutions. The Senior Risk Technology Data Engineer provides guidance and training to various stakeholders, and create an maintain documentation as required.

Responsibilities of the Senior Risk Technology Data Engineer:

  • Providing data solutions to stakeholders within the organization
  • Collaborating with teams to gather requirements and identify opportunities for data analysis, reporting and visualization
  • Presenting findings using visualization and reporting software
  • Working within the Risk organization to enhance data modeling using tools such as Python

Qualifications for the Senior Risk Technology Data Engineer:

  • Experience with SQL queries and advanced functions for data analysis
  • Advanced level competency with Python for analyzing datasets and strong Excel skills
  • Advanced Math and Statistics knowledge
  • Proficiency in providing design input with regard to data models and database design
  • Experience with visualization software
  • Exposure to financial markets, including knowledge of market risk, financial modeling, and securities valuation concepts

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
