Our client provides instrumentation and systems for a wide variety of applications for scientific advancement. They are seeking a Service Engineer to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$33 – $40/hr

Position Overview:

The Service Engineer will provide system installation, maintenance and repairs on customer sites while providing technical support. The Service Engineer provides technical support and assistance.

Responsibilities of the Service Engineer:

  • Calibrate and maintain in-house equipment
  • Prepare reports for invoices and charges
  • Perform product checks before shipments

Qualifications for the Service Engineer:

  • Electronic/optical backgrounds preferred
  • Ability to handle independent work with little to no supervision
  • Professionally handle customers
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve quickly
  • Great communication skills

Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus
