They are seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Account Manager to join their team!
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$100,000 – $115,000
Position Overview:
The Sr Supply Chain Account Manager is to consult with clients, and introduce them to the one of the best logistics companies in the world. In this Sr. Supply Chain Account Manager role you will act as the first primary interface with our key customer, primarily
supporting Ocean Import transport services.
Responsibilities of the Sr. Supply Chain Account Manager:
- Supervises a staff of 1 to 3 direct reports
- Responsible for coaching, training, and developing direct report staff
- Manage up to 5 enterprise level accounts
- Work with Suppliers and Carriers to ensure all proper documentation is received and completed (i.e. Ocean Import documentation, BOLs, etc.)
- Full ownership of import security filings for clients
- Expedites the daily activities of all operational functions ensuring customer satisfaction is successfully achieved, and company policies adhered to with the goal of maximizing profitability for the company
- Responsible for quarterly supplier/ carrier performance scorecard, and supply chain visibility data presentation
- Responsible for developing and presenting shipment data in Excel (VLOOKUP’s & Pivot Tables)
- Regular interaction with international suppliers and carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods to meet customers demands
Qualifications for the Sr. Supply Chain Account Manager:
- MUST have 3PL account management experience for consideration
- At least 5 years of strong experience working in a Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics environment managing client accounts
- Must have previous experience managing direct reports
- Previous experience training and developing new staff
- Must have previous experience managing mid to enterprise level accounts
- Must be strong with Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP’s & Pivot Table creation is a must)
- Prior experience with Infor Nexus or similar Supply Chain visibility tool
- Worked directly with international suppliers and carriers
- Experience with performance score carding
- Confident with power point presentation
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics / Supply Chain / International business / Project Management; or equivalent in experience (minimum 5 years) is required
