Salary/Hourly Rate:

$50,000 – $65,000

Position Overview:

The Staff Accountant will work closely with all members of the development and management team, other departments within the company, vendors and outside parties, and will need to establish and maintain good working relationships with them. The Staff Accountant will also be involved in a variety of special projects and financial analysis.

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

  • Tracking, coding and processing invoices
  • Entering and maintaining contracts in accounting software and Textura
  • Matching invoices against contracts for invoices processed through Ariba
  • Work with Property operations and development teams for invoice approvals
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by management

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

  • 1+ years of experience in an accounting/finance environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently with attention to details
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Mature professional with sound judgement and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with standard suite of Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, a plus
  • Knowledge of Textura a plus
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards (or other real estate accounting software) a plus

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
