Staff Accountant

Our client, a well-established real estate business, to help them identify a 0 to 3 year Staff Accountant candidate to join their team. Great opportunity to join a thriving business with lot’s of opportunity to grow on the team. This is a direct hire/permanent opportunity!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$55,000 – $65,000 plus bonus

Position Overview:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for general accounting duties with an emphasis on the accounts payable process, tracking, coding and processing invoices as well as supporting the month end close activities and financial analysis. The Staff Accountant will assist with the budgeting and forecasting process.

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

• Match, batch, code and process invoices
• Enter and update contracts in accounting software
• Matching invoices against contracts for invoices processed
• Collaborate with property operations and development teams to obtain approval for invoices
• Work on various special projects as directed by management
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Participate in the month-end and year-end close process
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in an accounting capacity
• College graduates with just internship experience feel free to apply

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration is required
