Our client is a rapidly growing healthcare software company developing predictive analytics products that help health outcomes in underserved communities. They are seeking to hire a Staff Data Engineer to join their team.

Position Overview:

This healthcare software company is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to oversee and lead their data engineering operations and act as a mentor for a team of Junior Engineers.

Responsibilities of the Staff Data Engineer:

  • Creating high-quality data transfer infrastructure from client databases to the company platform
  • Owning the design, creation, and daily maintenance of various data engineering solutions
  • Providing input on company-wide data engineering strategy
  • Providing code review and guidance to Junior Engineers

Qualifications for the Staff Data Engineer:

  • Strong hands-on production experience using Python
  • Experience designing and creating data engineering solutions such as pipelines, lakes, and warehouses
  • Some experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Airflow is a plus
  • A desire to work on products that will truly make the world a better place

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field is highly preferred
