Salary/Hourly Rate:

$80k – $95k

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for the next Supply Chain Account Manager to consult with clients and introduce them to the one of the best logistics companies in the world. In this role you will act as the first primary interface with key customers, primarily supporting Ocean Import transport services.

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Account Manager:

  • Manage up to 5 mid-sized accounts
  • Work with suppliers and carriers to ensure all proper documentation is received and completed (i.e. Ocean Import documentation, BOLs, etc.)
  • Take full ownership of import security filings for clients
  • Expedite the daily activities of all operational functions ensuring customer satisfaction is successfully achieved, and company policies adhered to with the goal of maximizing profitability for the company
  • Responsible for the quarterly supplier/carrier performance scorecard, and supply chain visibility data presentation
  • Responsible for developing and presenting shipment data in Excel (VLOOKUPs & Pivot Tables)
  • Regularly interact with international suppliers and carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods to meet customers demands

Qualifications of the Supply Chain Account Manager:

  • MUST have 3PL account management experience for consideration
  • Must be strong with Excel (i.e. VLOOKUPs & Pivot Table creation is a must)
  • Must have Ocean Import documentation experience
  • Must have experience processing POs full life cycle
  • At least 3 – 5 years of strong experience working in a Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics environment managing client accounts
  • Must have previous experience managing multiple small to mid sized accounts
  • Prior experience with Infor Nexus or similar Supply Chain visibility tool
  • Worked directly with international suppliers and carriers
  • Experience with performance score carding
  • Confident with PowerPoint presentation

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International business, Project Management, or equivalent in experience (minimum 3 years)
