Supply Chain Coordinator

Our client is a Global Manufacturer and Distributor in the CPG Industry and they are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$28 – $34/hr

Position Overview:

As the Supply Chain Coordinator, you are responsible for wide variety of coordination activities within the department. Ranging from domestic/international logistics, procurement, production & more.

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Coordinator:

• Provides logistics support including coordination and prioritization of planned shipments as well as shipment tracking and trouble shooting distribution related issues
• Participate in the design and implementation of supply chain planning that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions and new business opportunities
• Understand root causes for shortages and drive actions to recover in fastest possible duration
• Maintain continuity of supply by replenishing and conducting procurement activities for a global portfolio of consumer goods items
• Responsible for continuous improvement of On-Time/In-Full metric as well as other replenishment, supplier performance and cost savings metrics
• Analyze inventory requirements and maintain inventory levels in accordance with management guidelines

Qualifications for the Supply Chain Coordinator:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong communications skills in a multi-cultural environment
• Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills
• Demonstrated team building skills

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain is required
