Our client, an international manufacturer of warehouse automation equipment, they reside in 70+ countries across the globe. They are industry pioneers with the ability to offer high quality system solutions to all industries. They are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$110,000 – $125,000 base salary, with a 10% bonus

Position Overview:

As the Supply Chain Manager, you play a critical role in driving key results for our North American region. You will plan, manage & coordinate all activities related to Supply Chain (Procurement, Inventory, Logistics, Planning, etc). The ideal Supply Chain Manager candidate will a Six Sigma Belt, and be able to bring a continuous improvement mindset to not only the team, but the facility & network.

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager:

  • Lead negotiations and contracts, collaborating with the relevant partners to optimize terms, cost and deliverables, ensuring the quality of service/goods, and mitigating risks
  • Maintain continuity of supply by replenishing and conducting procurement activities for a global portfolio of consumer goods items
  • Track and resolve issues on scheduled shipments (ship date) and delivery dates to ensure timely receipt of inventory
  • Understand variances in historical usage and incorporate confirmed future requirements to determine replenishment and purchasing requirements
  • Work with a global supply base and internal stakeholders to address and resolve supply related issues to meet On-Time/In-Full metrics and PO compliance (required dates, batch/lot numbers, etc.)
  • Analyze inventory requirements and maintain inventory levels in accordance with management guidelines
  • Identify replenishment and procurement improvement opportunities and work with suppliers and/or internal stakeholders to implement solutions
  • Build policies and procedures to review supplier performance against contracted obligations, service levels and business requirements

Qualifications for the Supply Chain Manager:

  • Strong knowledge of ERP demand planning and supply chain functionality
  • 6+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Exceptional planning and problem-solving skills
  • Efficient with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field is required
