Salary/Hourly Rate:

$65k – $80k

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Supply Planner to use analytical data and model creation to drive their supply chain strategy and ensure that their products are delivered on time and on budget. In addition, this role will tightly manage both product restocks and new launches, calling out risks and communicating timelines and deadlines to all stakeholders, both internal and external.

Responsibilities of the Supply Planner:

  • Develop and maintain inventory model for raw materials, ensuring that production demands are continuously met through periods of high growth and expansion
  • Conduct historical trend analysis on limited-edition top-frame launches to inform forecasting and projections
  • Create and manage weekly purchase orders for the production facility
  • Develop safety stock strategy for vendor partners to reduce lead times and improve customer experience
  • Manage the creation of SKUs for the limited-edition top-frame launches
  • Work with vendor partners to provide accurate procurement forecasts and resolve supply chain bottlenecks as they arise
  • Prepare and support monthly supply plan and projected cash outlay based on inputs from demand planning and vendor partners

Qualifications of the Supply Planner:

  • 3+ years of experience in supply planning
  • High proficiency in excel including data manipulation/organization and modeling
  • Strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals and processes and are comfortable working with vendors on both new launches and evergreen products
  • Self-starter and effective communicator who is able to operate with minimal supervision
  • Problem-solver with the ability to think both strategically and execute tactically
  • Highly collaborative and enjoy working cross-functionally to execute strategies
  • Good listener and can think on your feet to provide solutions quickly and under pressure

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related field of study is highly preferred
