Our client, a high end luxury retail company located in Long Island, City is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

Dependent on experience

Position Overview:

This Systems Engineer will work onsite on a hybrid (3/2) schedule where they will support the main contact for all 3rd level system support. The Systems Engineer will provide 3rd level support to all desktops, Windows Servers, LAN/WAN devices, and VMWare environment.

Responsibilities of the Systems Engineer:

  • Work on special system upgrade and migration projects as needed and make sure schedules and deadlines are met
  • Maintain company’s infrastructure that includes all desktops, servers, network, and virtualization devices
  • Escalate all higher level issues to vendors

Qualifications for the Systems Engineer:

  • 5+ years of experience providing systems engineering and support
  • Extensive experience with VMWare experience, and active directory experience (troubleshooting directory not management)
  • Experience office 365, VX rail, data domains, Microsoft, Windows server (all editions 2012 to 2019), and some F5 experience
  • Experience with WebEx and Microsoft teams, on premises exchange not hosted and the ability to work on a team and adhere to project timelines

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
