Our client is a well-known transportation service. They provide safe and reliable forms of transportation throughout the entire state of New Jersey. They are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr – $25/hr

Position Overview:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for supporting all recruitment efforts, developing strategy, and aiding the new-hire process.

Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Coordinator:

  • Responsible for recruiting and staffing initiatives
  • Screen and interview prospective candidates on the phone or in person
  • Assist and prepare technical/professional and behavioral interview questions
  • Extend internal/external offers
  • Assist in accessing information in the applicant tracking system or in other reports or systems
  • Post a position in recruiting sites such as LinkedIn and Indeed and keep track of the positions that are posted
  • Interpret policies and procedures for the client base
  • Track and collect data for applicant tracking and generates recruiting reports, as needed
  • Submit background checks on all applicants
  • Submit candidates to pre-employment testing
  • Submit candidates to Hiring Managers on behalf of recruiters
  • Schedule interviews for hiring managers with candidates
  • Coordinate hiring documents with the candidates for compliance
  • Maintain TA document library
  • Build relationships with department leaders, Hiring Managers, and candidates
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking System, job boards and social media, career fairs, and college websites for recruitment

Qualifications of the Talent Acquisition Coordinator:

  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and complete a high volume of assigned work accurately
  • Demonstrated success in working effectively and efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with all levels in the organization and communicate effectively regarding sensitive and confidential matters
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with HR Information Systems, Applicant Tracking Systems, and related report generation experience is a plus
  • Experience with detailed reporting and tracking is advantageous
  • Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and customer-service orientation skills with the motivation and ability to function independently or as a team member
  • A high degree of flexibility

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
