Our valued client, a reputable software company, is seeking a Tax Coordinator to join their growing team. Salary/Hourly Rate:

$21/hr – $24/hr

Position Overview:

The Tax Coordinator will be the primary assistant to the Payroll Tax & Accounting department, supporting employee retention credits. This is an incredible opportunity for a Tax Coordinator professional to begin their accounting career in a position that will develop alongside the departmental (system & processes) changes in the first year.

Responsibilities of the Tax Coordinator:

  • Leverage your tax or accounting expertise to assist with projects that provide tax credits to our customers.
  • Assist with complex escalated issues customers may have regarding taxes and company products.
  • Work with the team to perform internal audits of tax credit calculations.
  • Communicate with the Account Managers and Customers Support teams to communicate information missing from our customers.
  • Assist in other special projects as assigned.

Qualifications for the Tax Coordinator:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Accounting or Tax role with an understanding of either accounting principles and bookkeeping or general tax law.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with one or more business entity types (C-Corp, S-Corp, LLC, etc.) from multiple industries.
  • Familiar with Excel, Power Point, and Google Slides.
  • Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A highly analytical self-starter with the ability to resolve problems independently.
  • Must be detail and results-oriented with an ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced, and constantly evolving environment.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is required
