Our client is a fast growing global software solutions company based in NYC. They are currently seeking to hire a Technical Support Engineer to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$85,000 – $95,000

Position Overview:

This Technical Support Engineer (SaaS Software/API) will provide support and manage complex end user support cases within their software platform. This person will have thorough understanding on their platform and be able to resolve level 1 API issues while having the knowledge to escalate the more complex technical software issues to the development teams.

Responsibilities of the Technical Support Engineer:

  • Provide basic software troubleshooting and handle the client inquiries via our main support channels
  • Manage and solve assigned cases by providing the best support solution given the client needs
  • Investigate the root cause of issues by isolating the problem and searching application logs
  • Reference technical documentation and aid in building internal knowledge base content where gaps may be present
  • Work closely with business and engineering teams to ensure transparent communication and efficient issue resolution

Qualifications for the Technical Support Engineer:

  • Min. of 2 years of technical support experience
  • Preferred in a B2B or SaaS product environment
  • Experience working with either SaaS products, APIs, or Single Sign-on applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, economics, or other relevant fields
