Our client, an NYC Museum is looking for an experienced Temp Timekeeping Admin to help support their busy security department for a 6 month assignment.

Position Overview:

The Temp Timekeeping Admin ensures that the system of coverage for the galleries is well planned and executed with an emphasis on guardianship efficiency. The Temp Timekeeping Admin allocate overtime generated by special events, manpower shortages, contractor escorts in WorkDay System.

Responsibilities of the Temp Timekeeping Admin:

  • Assign Security personnel to specific sections of the Museum
  • Adjust Security coverage based on daily operational staffing levels
  • Prepare all materials for supervisors to run the Museum operations
  • Allotting overtime from daily manpower shortages, early starts, special events, construction, and gallery closures
  • Scheduling time off (Annual leave, holidays, trainings)
  • Tracking visitor attendance in special exhibitions on Museum intranet
  • Properly maintain and update all Security personnel records
  • Coordinate the daily needs the security Es and contractors throughout the building
  • Support security personnel with all union inquiries
  • Answers telephones
  • Track lateness and non-paid status
  • Run daily payroll reports in WorkDay System
  • Paycheck inquiries and distribution
  • Employee Schedule changes

Qualifications for the Temp Timekeeping Admin:

  • Must have previous experience with timekeeping, along with WorkDay experience
  • Must be willing to work 1 weekend day per week
  • A Troubleshooter and detail oriented

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
