Our client is a well-known retailer that specializes in men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel and accessories across all different categories. They are based in NYC and sell across the US and overseas. They are looking to add a Temp-to-Perm Account Executive to join their team. This is a temp-to-perm position, offering the opportunity for the successful candidate to be taken on permanently based on performance evaluation. Salary/Hourly Rate:

$42/hr – $45/hr Depending on experience

Position Overview:

We seek a motivated and forward-thinking Temp-to-Perm Account Executive for the Menswear department. This is a unique opportunity to excel within the fashion industry, specifically in men’s products. The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of fashion trends and possess strong engagement skills to maintain current client relationships and establish new partnerships.

Responsibilities of the Temp-to-Perm Account Executive:

  • Grow and manage the portfolio of retailers in menswear, focusing on building strong relationships and achieving revenue targets.
  • Facilitate product placement in the showrooms and make product presentations to buyers.
  • Work closely with the design and production teams to communicate all necessary information regarding product delivery timelines, product details, and customer feedback.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies that properly align with the brand image and goals.
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret sales data to forecast future sales strategies for each account.
  • Attend and participate in trade shows, market week events, and other industry events.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the products and stay informed about trends and competition in the menswear fashion sector.

Qualifications for the Temp-to-Perm Account Executive:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an account executive role or similar within the fashion industry, preferably in menswear.
  • Exceptional understanding of the fashion industry and men’s products.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and sales management software.
  • Excellent communication and client presentation skills.
  • Extended hours and some travel may be required.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
