Our client, a well-known private label company that focuses on apparel and accessories, is in need of a Temp Women’s Sweater Technical Designer.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$50/hr – $58/hr Depending on experience

Position Overview:

For the Temp Women’s Sweater Technical Designer role, our client is in need of someone who has experience in creating tech. packages and has a strong understanding of gauges. This role is onsite 3 days a week from Tuesday to Thursday and work from home 2 days Monday and Friday. This is a 3-month plus assignment.

Responsibilities of the Temp Women’s Sweater Technical Designer:

  • Spec garments, create specs, fit sessions, and fit comments
  • Communicate with vendors
  • Complete full tech. packages
  • Sketch detailed flats on illustrator

Qualifications for the Temp Women’s Sweater Technical Designer:

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Excel and Illustrator
  • Experience with women’s sweater technical design
  • Strong understanding of gauges, stitches, chunky, and layouts
  • Must have 5 to 8 years of experience in sweaters
  • Strong technical skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
