A leading apparel brand recognized for its commitment to quality, design, and sustainability is currently seeking a Temporary Sourcing Coordinator to join its dynamic team. The team is now looking for a Temporary Sourcing Coordinator to further support our global sourcing initiatives.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25/hr – $30/hr

Position Overview:

A well-established apparel brand is seeking a Temporary Sourcing Coordinator to support the end-to-end product development and production process. This Temporary Sourcing Coordinator plays a key part in coordinating product and print development, maintaining communication with internal teams and external vendors, and assisting the Sourcing Manager with administrative tracking, reporting, and meeting preparation. The ideal Temporary Sourcing Coordinator is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities of the Temporary Sourcing Coordinator:

  • Assist the Sourcing Manager in executing the product development calendar to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Build strong relationships and maintain ongoing communication with internal and external partners.
  • Manage daily correspondence with vendors to collect and organize information, resolve issues, and follow up on deliverables.
  • Partner with design, merchandising, and creative teams to support assortment development, print execution, costing, and delivery.
  • Track product development status, samples, and approvals across multiple seasons.
  • Request marketing samples and artwork from vendors, ensuring timely tracking and organization.
  • Create, issue, and monitor purchase orders to maintain on-time delivery.
  • Track raw material commitments and liabilities.
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing reports and assisting with meeting coordination.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Temporary Sourcing Coordinator:

  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and problem-solve effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving setting.
  • 0 – 2 years of experience in apparel production and sourcing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
