Our client is a growing lending firm, looking to hire a Treasury Analyst.

Salary/Hourly Rate: $60K – $100K DOE

Position Overview: The Treasury Analyst will conduct cash management activities for the company and special-purpose entities. Responsibilities include cash management, bank administration, cash accounting, wire transfers and liquidity projections. You will also be responsible for applying policies and procedures in a timely manner and ensuring attention to details.

Responsibilities of the Treasury Analyst:

  • Manage the daily cash process which includes cash settlement between SPE’s
  • Maintain the cash balances and review all cash management transactions
  • Determine Company’s cash position and report results to executive team 
  • Preform daily purchases of new originated loans from Company’s partners
  • Perform daily bank account reconciliation
  • Perform daily reporting of asset position to banking partners
  • Process miscellaneous deposits items in the corporate bank accounts
  • Execute wire transfers and other funding necessary to balance the company’s cash position
  • Prepare month-end cash accounting reports and assist Accounting in reconciliation of outstanding items
  • Write and update treasury desktop procedures
  • Assist in opening, maintaining and closing bank accounts
  • Assist in forecasting cash flows and future results of the company

Qualifications for the Treasury Analyst:

  • 3-5 years of experience in treasury preferred with Financial Services sector experience ideal
  • Knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Word.   Prefer intermediate-level skillset in Excel
  • Knowledge of wire transfer and ACH execution and banking platforms
  • Analytical ability and attention to details
  • Work independently and continue to increase working knowledge of treasury functions
  • Proficiency in written and oral communications
  • Must have good interpersonal skills

Education Requirements:

  • Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics degree required
  • CTP is preferred
