Visual Coordinator

Our client, a children’s fashion brand is seeking a Visual Coordinator to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$30 – $45/hr

Position Overview:

The Visual Coordinator will be responsible for communicating merchandising strategies by creating and maintaining visual seasonal education and training tools. This position will be a part of the Visual Merchandising Team responsible for the “look” of the store while maximizing the space and layout for multiple store types. This Visual Coordinator position will ensure that the image/lifestyle of the brand is projected at all times by acting as brand ambassador for the brand.

Responsibilities of the Visual Coordinator:

• Maintain visual standards within assigned stores and locations through visual displays in store windows and on the sales floor
• Coordinate the development of seasonal visual communications/tools and floorset documents
• Participate in the development of visual standards manual and brand communications/tools
• Organize the development of weekly updates and visual communications
• Support mapping, planning, and implementation of all visual presentations
• Handle photo editing of seasonal mock-store images
• Obtain feedback from field to improve visual direction and execution
• Participate in store visits focusing on presentation standards
• Ensure signs are installed and consistent with company standards
• Collaborate with department for special projects or store openings

Qualifications for the Visual Coordinator:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in visual merchandising
• High level of proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Proven ability to understand and interpret visual presentation direction
• Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills
• Ability to operate independently while establishing strong working relationships with co-workers and cross-functional teams
• Strong professional and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines
• Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast- paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to travel to local stores
• COVID 19 vaccination certification is required

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising, business, or related field is required
