Our client is a fast growing and dynamic media and advertising company located in both NY and LA. They are currently hiring a VP Group Director, Data Solutions to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

Position Overview:

This VP Group Director, Data Solutions role will be embedded within their business solutions team and lead a portfolio of data & tech strategy for their clients. This person will also oversee omni-audience strategy across all campaigns for these clients. This role will focus on being an expert in leveraging their proprietary Identity framework platform (DSP/DMP) to enable data-driven marketing. The role includes C-Suite presentations, thought leadership & insights, client innovation & planning, team management and uncovering new business opportunities.

Responsibilities of the VP Group Director, Data Solutions:

  • Define overall data strategy for each account
  • Develop media marketing strategy aligned with business objectives backed into media KPIs
  • Explore and defines seed audiences for audience strategy against business objectives by product using their DMP/DSP and or client data
  • Oversee direction of Data Scientists on queries needed for insight development and or custom audiences; defines models, individual model inputs, framework of business rules for queries
  • Identify gaps in current tech, measurement capabilities, team structure
  • Understands and develops use cases for new technology solutions tied targeting and measurement
  • Builds screen & partner allocation based on objectives and audience deliveries
  • Partners with Data Scientist to identify new audience optimizations based on campaign performance data
  • Manages and trains Directors on assigned accounts
  • Manages Data Scientists on assigned accounts

Qualifications for the VP Group Director, Data Solutions:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Programmatic/Digital/Mar Tech
  • 10+ overall Hands on experience working with a DSP, DMP, CDP or CRM platform or other ad tech platforms
  • Expert knowledge of the programmatic, mar/ad tech landscape
  • Proven success collaborating across multiple teams/disciplines
  • Proven experience working with senior level clients

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited school required
