Salary/Hourly Rate:

$80,000 – $90,000

Position Overview:

The Warehouse Manager is to contribute to the growth and profitability of the company by efficiently managing warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will plan, direct, or coordinate transportation, storage, or distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable government laws or regulations. Includes logistics managers.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:

  • Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials
  • Plan, develop, or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities
  • Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements
  • Issuances are pulled 24-48 hours before lines are scheduled to run
  • Returns are processed in a 24-hour period
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies properly through internal channels
  • Physical Inventory is within 2% of book inventory
  • Make sure shipping & receiving processes operate in accordance with company SOP’s

Qualifications for the Warehouse Manager:

  • Previous of warehouse management experience required
  • 15+ years of warehouse experience
  • Experience managing shipping, receiving and inventory functions
  • Expertise in various computer and warehouse management programs
  • Knowledge of GMP’s and FDA regulated industries
  • Bi-lingual is a plus (English-Spanish)
  • Certified trainer for various warehouse equipment
  • Must be a strong leader who can manage a just in time operation in multiple buildings
  • Familiarity working in a paper based warehouse system

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
