Client Overview:

We are working with a global retailer of coffee machines, capsules, and accessories. This company has a network of boutiques and stores where customers can purchase coffee and accessories. Additionally, this company sells its products through e-commerce platforms, making them easily accessible to customers worldwide. The company continues to grow and wants to add a Warehouse Workflow Specialist to its North Carolina location.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$22/hr – $24/hr

Position Overview:

The Warehouse Workflow Specialist plays a critical role in developing, deploying, and evolving warehouse process enablement and continuous improvement efforts. This Warehouse Workflow Specialist will serve as the process owner for the After-sales market team, documenting the work stream and managing a delivery process focus to identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities in the warehouse. The Warehouse Workflow Specialist will also be heavily calibrating with other internal teams to make accurate workflow models and define the best practices within the warehouse. The Warehouse Workflow Specialist will assist in reviewing and editing all written procedures for the After Sales Center, ensuring all portions of services are thoroughly described and accurate.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Workflow Specialist:

  • Ensure After Sales Centers are trained and proficient in machine designs and functions to be able to be installed.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and repair per procedures for all the company’s machine models.
  • Evaluate the performance and quality of the After Sales Center to ensure adherence and compliance with company policies.
  • Identify and assess current and future training needs.
  • Develop various effective training plans and methods through workshops and webinars training courses.
  • Suggest strategies for operation efficiencies and manage customer complaints.
  • Evaluate and rate operation performance, industrialization of service ramp-ups and reductions, and quality of workmanship through scorecard.
  • Review and improve After Sales Center procedures and workflows, implementing and overseeing efficiency changes.
  • Collaborate with their peers to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Define and communicate a clear vision for sub-process across the operating model.
  • Participate in process governance (as needed) to provide input on items such as process scope and assist in resolving operational issues.
  • Process design and improvement principles.

Qualifications for the Warehouse Workflow Specialist:

  • 2+ years of work experience with reviewing and editing written procedures for operations.
  • Experience handling reverse logistics, after-sales work production lines, and driving continuous operation improvement projects.
  • Experience in Inventory and Budget Management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Process design and improvement principles.
  • People management skills and experience working with several teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
  • Travel required 5% visiting all contracted After Sales Centers facilities and attending monthly operations meetings in person.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent degree).
