Our client is a private equity-owned healthcare organization based in NYC, with 200 locations nationwide. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our client’s team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$75k – $95k Depending on prior experience
Position Overview:
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and managing the financial performance of our portfolio of healthcare properties. This Financial Analyst position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment within the private equity sector.
Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of healthcare properties within the portfolio.
- Utilize financial models and tools to assess performance, identify trends, and evaluate key financial metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with individual Property Managers to conduct interviews and assess operational processes.
- Identify potential cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements to enhance portfolio profitability.
- Implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenditures.
- Evaluate and enhance internal accounting controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Work closely with Property Managers to implement improvements in financial reporting processes.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and address any discrepancies or irregularities.
- Prepare detailed and insightful management reports using Microsoft Excel to communicate financial performance and strategic recommendations.
- Present findings and reports to senior management, providing clear explanations and actionable insights.
Qualifications for the Financial Analyst:
- 2 – 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry’s financial dynamics is a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
