Our client, a well-known public accounting firm is looking to add a Full Charge Bookkeeper to their team. This is an incredible opportunity for a professional to join an collaborative department in an important role. The ideal candidate must be technically strong, team oriented, and have strong understanding of accounting principles.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$45,000 – $55,000

Position Overview:

The Full Charge Bookkeeper will join a dynamic Accounting Department, reporting directly to the partners of the firm.  The Full Charge Bookkeeper will assist with all aspects of client’s financials including accruals, general accounting, financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:

  • Partner closely with various clients and perform daily accounting functions
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable and Payable inquires
  • Responsible for preparing monthly financial statements and reports
  • Review and prepare reconciliations and journal entries for various accounts
  • Responsible for reviewing general ledger and accounts for accuracy
  • Assist in preparation of weekly payroll, as well as quarterly/annual payroll tax returns

Qualifications for the Bookkeeper:

  • Excel skills
  • QuickBooks Experience is a plus but not required
  • Maintain professional appearance and manner to represent the brand

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is required
