Our client provides residents with high-quality housing in all asset classes, particularly communities with affordable housing components. They are known to set the standard for housing quality in their markets. They are looking to add an Assistant Property Manager-Affordable Housing to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$29/hr – $30/hr plus Overtime

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an Assistant Property Manager-Affordable Housing who has experience in processing recertifications in low-income housing property management. If you are seeking a company to grow and thrive with, this might be the career for you!

Responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager-Affordable Housing:

  • Assist with LIHTC annual recertifications.
  • Take charge of coding invoices.
  • Assist with leasing and marketing.
  • Take charge of touring with prospective residents.
  • Contribute to processing applications.
  • Move-in documentation process.
  • Facilitate resident relations with exceptional customer service.
  • Aid in rent collection.
  • Enter work orders and work closely with the Maintenance team.

Required Experience/Skills for the Assistant Property Manager-Affordable Housing:

  • Prior work as a Recertification or Occupancy Specialist or a related role.
  • LIHTC annual recertifications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Be able to multitask.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Learning attitude and ability to take instruction are a must.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Assistant Property Manager-Affordable Housing:

  • Knowledge of OneSite or other property management software.

Education Requirements:

  • College degree is preferred.
