Our client is a well-established manufacturer delivering reliable and innovative packaging solutions to a wide range of industries including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, personal care, and household products. Their team is now looking for a Supervisor, Sr Production Planner.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$85k – $90k

Position Overview:

The Supervisor, Sr Production Planner will lead scheduling and planning efforts from raw materials to finished goods. This Supervisor, Sr Production Planner is an onsite role which requires a hands-on candidate with a strong background in production scheduling, ERP systems, and team management.

Responsibilities of the Supervisor, Sr Production Planner:

  • Oversee and manage complex, multi-stage production schedules to meet delivery deadlines, capacity constraints, and inventory targets.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of schedulers and planners, driving accountability, collaboration, and operational alignment.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and inventory teams to ensure timely flow of materials and finished goods.
  • Monitor ERP systems (IQMS or similar preferred) and use Excel to track schedule adherence, raw material availability, and WIP.
  • Identify scheduling conflicts or delays and lead cross-functional efforts to resolve issues and improve planning processes. 

Required Experience/Skills for the Supervisor, Sr Production Planner:

  • Minimum 5 years of supply chain planning experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong production scheduling background across full lifecycle planning (raw materials through finished goods).
  • Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERPs (IQMS or others preferred).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and continuous improvement mindset.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
