Our client is an industry-leading and established real estate investment and property management company. They are looking to add a Yardi Systems Administrator to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$115k – $125k
Position Overview:
This Yardi Systems Administrator will provide end-user support, assist with writing Yardi SQL reports, and act as a subject matter expert for all Yardi applications. You will also serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned Yardi projects and new module implementations and integrations.
Responsibilities of the Yardi Systems Administrator:
- Act as an SME for all Yardi applications and related modules, including Voyager, and others as implemented.
- Ensures the back-end system setup of users, workflows, security permissions, and functions that support business processes are properly configured and functioning.
- Provides front-line support for team members using Yardi software and resolves helpdesk tickets to ensure prompt, effective service and internal customer satisfaction.
- Serves as the primary responder for Help Desk inquiries related to Yardi issues, including user-related questions, system errors, and performance concerns.
- Liaises with Yardi technical support to troubleshoot, document, and resolve complex user and system issues that impact operations.
- Performs regular system maintenance, including user provisioning and deactivation, role and security group updates, system audits, menu updates, and database integrity checks.
- Maintains current and accurate documentation of user guides, training materials, process workflows, and system configuration settings.
- Collaborates with Business Unit Heads and department leaders to align Yardi capabilities with evolving business process needs and strategic objectives.
- Maintains an active understanding of department projects, business cycles, and timelines that may be impacted by system performance or upgrades.
- Creates and delivers system training programs and onboarding sessions for new users; leads periodic refresher training to optimize system utilization.
- Evaluates, audits, and documents all system settings, workflow automations, and customizations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
- Supports system upgrades, new module rollouts, patch testing, and data migration projects by performing test scripts and quality assurance tasks.
- Identifies and recommends opportunities for automation, improved system utilization, and integration with third-party tools.
Required Experience/Skills for the Yardi Systems Administrator:
- 5+ years of experience as a Yardi Administrator or Super User.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and write Yardi YSR and/or SQL reports.
- Residential and commercial property management system experience.
- Experience with onboarding residential and commercial properties into Yardi.
- Proficient in, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of Yardi applications used in the organization and the industry.
Education Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or equivalent education is required.
