Our client is a leading global manufacturer in the vertical transportation industry, known for delivering innovative, sustainable mobility solutions. The organization supports a network of over 140 branches and emphasizes operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement across its procurement and supply chain functions. Currently, they are looking to add a Senior Manager – Procurement to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$150k Annually, plus 20% Bonus potential

Position Overview:

The Senior Manager – Procurement will play a key strategic role within the Field Business Unit. This position is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, leading sourcing initiatives, and negotiating supplier terms. The ideal candidate will manage a team of 4 buyers and support procurement operations involving over 3,500 suppliers and 1,100 requisitioners.

Responsibilities of the Senior Manager – Procurement:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team.
  • Build and manage strong vendor relationships aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee and optimize catalog systems and processes for efficiency and compliance.
  • Drive the adoption of procurement tools across the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance user experience and operational outcomes.
  • Leverage Oracle and Jaggaer to maintain catalog integrity and streamline operations.
  • Analyze performance metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Support the strategic mission of supplier consolidation and catalog expansion.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Manager – Procurement:

  • 10+ years of sourcing experience with a strong focus on catalog management.
  • 8+ years of managerial-level experience in procurement leadership.
  • Proven track record in strategic sourcing and procurement best practices.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Oracle and Jaggaer systems.
  • Ability to transform ambiguous data into actionable insights.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Manager – Procurement:

  • 5+ years in the OEM elevator industry or a similar business.
  • Experience in retail or industries with catalog-based procurement.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration) is required.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration is preferred.
  • Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in place of a degree.
