Our client, a leader in their industry, is expanding their enterprise reporting capabilities and looking for a seasoned Enterprise Power BI Architect to take charge of their Power BI architecture.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70/hr – $85/hr

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an Enterprise Power BI Architect to lead the enterprise-level design and deployment of a scalable, secure Power BI environment. Ideal candidates will bring a strong architectural mindset, technical depth in Power BI, and the ability to work cross-functionally with data, infrastructure, and business teams.

Responsibilities of the Enterprise Power BI Architect:

• Design and implement a scalable Power BI framework tailored to enterprise needs.
• Establish secure and seamless data connectivity between Power BI, Snowflake, and on-premise sources.
• Configure and manage the Power BI Service and Gateway for broad internal adoption.
• Develop and enforce governance policies related to user access, data permissions, and security.
• Support mobile Power BI access and SSO integrations.

Required Experience/Skills for the Enterprise Power BI Architect:

• 5 – 7 years of experience working with Power BI in enterprise settings.
• Proven track record implementing and scaling Power BI environments from the ground up.
• Deep knowledge of Power BI Gateway, Service, and Desktop.
• Hands-on experience integrating Power BI with Snowflake and on-premise databases.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data governance and security frameworks.
• Skilled in performance tuning and environment monitoring.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Enterprise Power BI Architect:

• Previous work experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience enabling Power BI access on mobile platforms.
• Familiarity with SSO setup and authentication methods in Power BI environments.
