Client Overview:

Our client is a fast-paced, fashion-forward retail brand with a strong presence in New York City. Their mission is to deliver an exceptional customer experience through high-quality products and a culture rooted in creativity, collaboration, and customer service excellence. They are now looking for a Retail Sales Supervisor.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25/hr

Position Overview:

The Retail Sales Supervisor must be experienced and enthusiastic to support daily operations in our NYC retail location. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader, team motivator, and customer service expert who thrives in a high-volume retail environment.

Responsibilities of the Retail Sales Supervisor:

• Supervise and coach sales associates to meet performance goals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a customer-first environment.
• Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation standards are met.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking.
• Help recruit, train, and onboard new team members.

Required Experience/Skills for the Retail Sales Supervisor:

• 2+ years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Proven ability to drive sales and motivate a team.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Retail Sales Supervisor:

• Experience working in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle retail.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory tools.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
