Salary/Hourly Rate:


$30/hr – $35/hr

Position Overview:


In this role as the Temp CAD Designer, you will be responsible for developing precise and visually appealing CAD designs that support our seasonal apparel collections. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, a strong eye for detail, and a collaborative spirit to help translate design concepts into production-ready visuals.

Responsibilities of the Temp CAD Designer:


  • Create detailed CAD sketches and technical flat designs for apparel, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the creative vision.

  • Collaborate closely with designers, product developers, and merchandisers to translate concepts into production-ready designs.

  • Update and maintain CAD libraries, ensuring all files are organized and accessible.

  • Modify and revise existing designs to reflect updates in style, fit, or production needs.

  • Ensure all CADs accurately represent specifications, fabrications, trims, and colorways.

  • Monitor market trends to ensure designs are competitive and aligned with brand aesthetics.

Required Experience/Skills for the Temp CAD Designer:


  • Proven experience as a CAD Designer in the fashion/apparel industry.

  • Proficiency in CAD software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • Solid understanding of garment construction and production processes.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce precise, high-quality visuals.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Effective communicator and team player.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Temp CAD Designer:


  • Experience with fashion-specific CAD platforms or PLM systems.

  • Background working with sustainable or innovative textiles.

  • Familiarity with print development or color story planning.

Education Requirements:


  • A degree in Fashion Apparel Design is required.
