Client Overview:

Our client is a utility company servicing NYC. They are looking to add a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to their team. This is in their IT Solutions delivery division.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$65/hr – $95/hr

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with experience in Copado and Azure DevOps to support the secure and efficient delivery of software solutions in the utility and energy industry. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, infrastructure as code, and secure software delivery in a highly regulated environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliable and efficient deployment of applications that power modern energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities of the Senior Azure DevOps Engineer:

  • CI/CD pipeline development and management – Azure DevOps.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Azure DevOps.
  • Agile process and project management – Azure DevOps.
  • Security and compliance (DevSecOps).

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Azure DevOps Engineer:

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD tools, and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Strong knowledge of IaC tools (Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., NERC CIP, ISO 27001).

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Azure DevOps Engineer:

  • Experience in the utility or energy industry is highly preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
