Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k – $100k

Position Overview:

The candidate for Senior Accountant must be highly motivated and detail-oriented to join the finance team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a keen eye for accuracy and efficiency. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements and reports.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Assist with tax preparation and filing.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors as needed.
  • Support other finance team members with ad-hoc projects and tasks.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:

  • Minimum of 5 years of general ledger accounting experience.
  • ERP system experience in SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
  • Experience reconciling bank statements and balance sheets.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
