Our client, a leading real estate and facilities management group, is seeking a friendly and adaptable Hospitality Specialist for Front Desk and Guest Relations to support front desk operations at a mixed-use residential and medical property in Manhattan. Position Overview:
The Hospitality Specialist for Front Desk and Guest Relations will serve as the first point of contact for guests, residents, and patients—handling check-ins, reservations, package deliveries, and inquiries. The ideal Hospitality Specialist is dependable, flexible with scheduling, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. This is a strong opportunity for a Hospitality Specialist looking to gain real estate or property management experience while working as part of a professional front desk team.
Responsibilities of the Hospitality Specialist for Front Desk and Guest Relations:
- Greet and check in guests, residents, and patients at the front desk.
- Take reservations, answer phone calls, and handle guest inquiries as a primary Hospitality Specialist contact.
- Accept and manage package deliveries, creating service requests and tracking updates.
- Guide guests and visitors to appropriate departments or contacts within the facility.
- Utilize property management systems (training provided) for guest services and resident communication.
- Maintain a polished, professional front desk presence as a Hospitality Specialist representative.
- Assist with work orders, service requests, and internal team coordination.
- Work a flexible, rotating schedule that will include both weekday and weekend shifts.
- Take on special projects and additional front-of-house tasks as assigned.
Required Experience/Skills for the Hospitality Specialist for Front Desk and Guest Relations:
- 1+ years of experience in hospitality, customer service, or front desk roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and standard office software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism.
- COVID-19 vaccination (initial two-dose series) required.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Hospitality Specialist for Front Desk and Guest Relations:
- Familiarity with Building Link or similar property management software.
- Experience in residential real estate, facilities, or hospitality operations.
- Flexible availability, including willingness to work weekends and varied shifts.
- Interest in exploring a long-term career in real estate services or client-facing operations.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Some college preferred.
